hello werld..i've been working and/or recuperating from the junk food I enjoyed on NYE but paid for dearly. It seemed to be the theme of 3 for 1 movies lately...that day it was Anacondas, Spring, Summer..., and Resident Evil Apocalypse. Boxing day it was Priscilla, Dirty Work, and of course Jacques Cousteau!
Also, I've been celebrating the re-opening of the gym, as I get back to the pool and my weights and the various classes..I dropped my long-time yoga and am registered for pilates starting March.
Said goodbye to another exchange student, and had a surprise sushi dinner with her and her cohort on Monday, met up on the bus again and we had to take a photo..i've been thinking that maybe i need a digicam of my own...
It's also good to be back at the library, so juicy new ones were charged to my card, and I can't be happier reading!
Last nite, it was the official goodbye party and I went as an accessory to Saab, in our matching jackets. We were rollin' like high ones in his mama's car though we were held up by my laundry. We got caught up in the mobile and there was drama a-plenty with all of his boyfriends and stinky people on the dancefloor. I shook my booty to Prince again, and the lesbians still didn't look at me. I talked to a guy wearing Austin Powers pants like I've always wanted and a Tina Turner drag queen. We didn't see the Vietnamese couple or Bojana, but there was an Ashlee Simpson spotting. Overall, it was a pretty boring night, and we were both happier eating fries from Frites on Davie. The manfry was most entertaining and we tasted all the special dips. A cute New Yorker commented on my kicks and we decided to take the ride to Richmond, to tim hortons and to my childhood home. It's funny how I can get around Richmond and around Vancouver, but going in between the two always stumps me. Oh well...gotta go box with my Kinder Surprise now! all4now.
