fame
hello werld. it's been an unexpected rip-roaring good time the past couple of days. yesterday, whilst at work, another celebrity sighting! (first since Gena Lee Nolan) at first I didn't believe, but Saab spotted him, and we got confirmation that it was indeed Kal Penn, and I spoke a few words with him, sold him a scarf, got a photo (which will be posted on the ol' friendster with the caption.."out with Kanye, in with Kumar"..stay tuned) and he wouldn't show me his liscence because he thought I would stalk him in LA, then got affronted that I wouldn't.
I had to hustle around buying plates and bagging plastic cubes for the par-tay, and go home and get pretty, couldn't really get my hair any bigger..seriously considering a weave.
it was nice to be the most fabulousest folks at the staff party, and entertaining to see the imaginative outfits come from Robson Street, though Rat was sporting his new "serial killer" look, yikes. the most fabulousest individual, the one that I was waiting to meet (all my life it seems) was Pocahontas, Queen of Metrotown. He had dem moves that were making my knees turn to jelly...and it wasn't long before we were cutting a rug up the entire nite. I have never met anyone who could keep up with me on the floor, let alone show me up, but madd props due! it was like we were destined to dance together, and I got my chance to have my Shall We Dance moments, complete with coordinated motions (that we didn't plan at all) and lifts and twirls...the music was good as well, i got to dance with this divine bi boy (he made no qualms about his desires and actualities to tongue lash Saab in the bathroom) to PYT, Erotic City, Atomic Dog, Poison (by BBD) and the evening ended with us spinning so fast we fell to the ground to Al Green. (sigh) I didn't think I could be so fulfilled. well, the universe sends us angels at strange times...and we will live forever. all4now.
