the hourglass, my ever changing mood...am i the only one? using food for thought and thought for food? borrowing from dionne farris for a minute, reminiscing on some nice time spent being lyric geeks with illy, my homie from seattle. saw a lot of him in the past week, at odd times of the night..but it was nice of him to come thru with a belladonna indeed to paint my toes and bless my new home, yea artists' energy, flow flow flow! now, i just have to convince margaret cho come over...she's coming back here, and i'm not gonna miss her this time! i've been spreading myself a bit thin this week, finding myself tired and cranky a lot, but still all good. i'm feeling pretty good now as i hang out listening to the cbc blogging in my baby's robe ") we went to the gladstone secondary's caberet last nite where my superstar stole the show with her actual talent...on the keys, vocals, and standing bass. the rest of the kids were alright too, but it was no contest. well, maybe from the bollywood dancer and the napoleon dynamite jamiroquai routine...but i can do without the choir direction, damn, never heard so many asian kids sound so white. it was cool though, cuz there were lots of geeky asian boys who were willing to sing. they could have used my help picking proper songs though...oh well, there was some great food and it was fun for the $12 paid. i dismantled that awful bed and yesterday i got my new one, and it's almost fully built now. everything will be ready for sunday...i also gave up my old keys, so i'm officially living in one apartment, not as a janitor. well, i'm gonna go now because i've been looking at the internet too long...but i gotta send out this plug, if y'all like good music, check out abisynnian creole...damn, think i spelled it wrong: abcreole, that should be suffice to search...or check on the myspace or friendster...i'm connex...half the group thinks that i'm the kind of music listener that music makers dream of...it's true. all4now.
